Student achievements

Tournament formats, medals, champion belts and the club leaders.

The most valuable moment happens a minute before stepping out: the child is nervous and steps forward anyway. The medal is only the trace of that step.

Beginners start in the lighter categories: tui shou (pushing hands) and demonstration performances, where a child shows technique in form — without hard contact or unnecessary stress.

Next come Kong Sao bouts in the SEMI, LIGHT and FULL versions — different levels of contact, each prepared for separately. Our students regularly take podium places at open tournaments across Estonia.

And then there is TOP FIGHTER, the toughest full-contact version, where the winner receives a champion belt.

Tui shou
pushing hands — the goal is to unbalance your partner, no strikes, a start for beginners
SEMI
a bout with stops — points for a clean strike, like in fencing
LIGHT
hands, legs, throws, without stops
FULL
hands, legs, knees, elbows, throws
TOP FIGHTER
for the most experienced students

We are not only proud of the winners. We are proud of those who stepped out a second time after losing.
